I want to introduce myself. My name is Cesare; I am 29 years old and I am a non-professional trader.

I earned a degree in quantitative finance from the University of Turin in 2008 with 110 cum laude. My thesis was about breakdowns and minimum/maximum techniques of trading with technical analysis.
I am very interested in fundamental analysis and technical analysis, and especially studies about Bollinger bands and breakdowns (I read a lot of publications about them).
I started trading with virtual money in 2006, primarily on stocks, indexes and options.
Then I started trading with real money in 2007 with indexes (ETFs) and stocks on the Italian market; in 2010 I started trading in forex with eToro.
My favorite currencies are the EUR/USD and AUD/USD pairs because they have high volatility and generally low volatility of volatility.
My favorite leverage is medium: generally 25x or 50x if I want to do trades that will be opened for less than a few days, otherwise 10x if I want to do trades opened for more days (generally more than a week in these cases).
