Please allow me to introduce myself; I am mdaher, a trader who is not looking to understand each and every detail of FOREX trading. I have just a general understanding of it, and that is more than enough for my purposes, as I am not a not a trader, and don’t even want to become a professional trader. Therefore, eToro is the right platform for me to become a “professional” copier.

My target here is to find serious and good traders. In order to do that that I am adapting something I do in my job on a daily basis; it is called Verification and Validation (V&V). I am looking for the best traders and run with them a V&V process in my demo account; the ones that pass will be added with some allocated funds to my real account. So basically I am a passive trader, who is looking forward to creating a strong people-based portfolio of 3 to a maximum 5 traders, and to run on that continuously an ongoing revalidation process.
My strategy:
Spread the risk! When I started with eToro, I was looking for people that are solely copying other traders, but most of them were still trading by themselves. So that’s why I decided to establish my own people-based portfolio. Please note that I do not intend to trade, you will never see any trades issued by myself, I just leave the trading to the professionals. All the traders in my people-based portfolio have to be qualified by my V&V process, based on that I am filtering out the best traders according to my requirements. Instead of putting all the money on one “horse” I am splitting it, I am actually spreading the risk on my approved people-based portfolio, so IF (there is always a risk – this is FOREX) one of them goes “belly up,” others will act as a buffer. With such a strategy you can reduce the risk significantly.
I am really pleased to have the opportunity to share with you my thoughts. For me, personally, it seems now that I am on the right track with my V&V process. In the beginning, I was copying more or less blindly, which still reflects on my stats, but if you do it right, you may profit.
