EUR short-covering extended into Monday following a subdued Asian session due to the lunar new year. The recent correction has taken a lot of the EURUSD downward momentum out of the market. Will there be any follow-though buying is the key question.
Greek sovereign debt negotiations may or may not be nearing to accord. Bond holders reportedly are balking at additional concessions. The hope had been that the debt issue would have been resolved by Monday.
Chinese markets are closed all week for the lunar new year.
